שׁוֹפָר שֶׁנִּסְדַּק וְדִבְּקוֹ, פָּסוּל. דִּבֵּק שִׁבְרֵי שׁוֹפָרוֹת, פָּסוּל. נִקַּב וּסְתָמוֹ, אִם מְעַכֵּב אֶת הַתְּקִיעָה, פָּסוּל. וְאִם לָאו, כָּשֵׁר:

Si un shofar se partió y se pegó, es pasul (no apto), [como dos shofroth. Esto, si se dividiera a lo largo de su longitud. Pero si se dividiera en su ancho—si queda desde el sitio de la boca hasta el lugar de la división suficiente (shofar intacto) para soplar, es kasher; si no, es pasul. ¿Y cuánto es la cantidad requerida para soplar? (Suficiente shofar intacto) para que si lo sostiene en su mano sea visible a ambos lados.] Si pegaba pedazos de shofroth, es pasul.
